Margaret Dooley Lyons

Savannah- Margaret Dooley Lyons, 91, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Tara of Thunderbolt.
She was a native and life-long resident of Savannah. After graduating from St. Vincent's Academy, she attended Armstrong Junior College. She enjoyed horses and dogs and was a Communicant of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Her husband, Eugene E. Lyons preceded her in death.
Surviving is her son, Eugene Edward Lyons, Jr. Her memory will be cherished by many loving relatives.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 7, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel. A Vigil Service will follow at 6:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Bonaventure Cemetery.

To the Family of Ms. Lyons, Although I did not personally know Ms. Lyons, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest sympathy to your family. No doubt the loss of such a dear loved one will be felt by many. Long ago the faithful man Job asked if an able bodied man died could he live again. The comforting answer is yes. Our God, the creator, yearns to bring back those who have died. Job 14:13-15 May this and other promises recorded in God's word the Bible continue to comfort you and your family.
